WELCOME TO OUR

PARENTS' CORNER

Homework Policy:  Homework is taken very seriously and is expected to be completed and returned the next day. We do try to keep homework to a minimun since we know many students participate in after school activities.  Many times homework is sent as an extension of what we have learned in class.  Sometimes, homework is simply what a student has not finished in class.  Homework is vital to a student's learning as it is meant to enhance the teaching done in the classroom.

A few times throughout the year, projects will be assigned over a weekend to allow students extra time to complete the project.

Failure to do homework will result in LOSS OF RECESS.  Students will have a homework planner and parents should check and sign the planner DAILY.  Any items that are homework should be highlighted in their planner for you to easily see what needs to be completed.

Also, to help students be more successful they should read each night for at least 20 minutes.  You will be amazed at the difference it will make for years to come!

Homework Expectations:

  • All Homework should be completed in pencil (unless directions state otherwise)
